First Community Planting Day reminder
Just a reminder about our first community planting day of the season – on Saturday 10th of June we will be at the White Rock Hills property, Marohemo – your hosts Bryce & Aneta, Peter & Prue.
This year our Mayor Greg Gent will be coming along to help out. So if you can come along to the planting day you will also have the chance not just to feel good planting some trees but also to meet our Mayor and work alongside him. How good is that?
Notice of Annual General Meeting
We are holding our AGM in two weeks from today, starting at 7.30pm on Tuesday 13th June 2017 at the Country Club, Bickerstaffe Road, Maungaturoto. If you’d like to hear more about how we got on last season and our prospects for the coming year, please do come along.
NRC weeds workshop
There is a weeds workshop in Paparoa being run by Sara Brill from NRC July 24th 1-4 pm at the Memorial Hall. Register with her if you are coming along at SaraB@nrc.govt.nz as she needs to know numbers to go ahead. I went to one a couple of years ago, and learned a lot. If you have any queries about existing weed problems you might have, this will be a good chance to get them sorted. Sara knows her stuff!
